Sunreef Yachts concludes one of the shipyard’s most dynamic and successful years so far. Celebrating the company’s 15th anniversary throughout 2017, the team has participated in the industry’s most exclusive marine shows worldwide including Miami, Singapore, Cannes and Fort Lauderdale. Sunreef Yachts has received prestigious awards, launched a spectacular custom-built 88ft Double Deck sailing superyacht and has introduced a completely new range of sailing catamarans, but most importantly noted a spectacular increase in sales. With the end of 2017, the shipyard has also completed the construction of its first fast dayboat project, promising a great start into the year ahead.

Sunreef Yachts new sailing range: ultramodern catamarans with a classic edge

Sunreef Yachts unveiled an all new range of sail catamarans at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2017 during the annual press conference. While working on this exciting project, the shipyard’s in-house designers have been looking for ways to express the spirit of a classic sail yacht through modern marine architecture.

As the first drawings were made, the idea became clear. An all-around sailing leisure yacht range ideal for exclusive getaways, charter and transoceanic adventures emerged. With a classically inspired design and units ranging from compact to superyacht, Sunreef Yachts new sailing catamarans are currently enjoying a spectacular success.

The Sunreef 88 Double Deck : the avant-garde sailing superyacht launched Launched mid-2017, the Sunreef 88 Double Deck is a sailing superyacht with an aggressive, sporty look. This custom-built craft demonstrates the shipyard’s expertise and creative approach to multihull design in the range over 80ft. The start of this ambitious project was officially announced during Sunreef Yachts’ press conference at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2016.

The Sunreef 88 Double Deck is a display of the shipyard’s non-conformist attitude and a genuine example of an avant-garde sailing catamaran concept. She puts the emphasis on luxury, performance and privacy while offering over 300m² of living space. The Sunreef Supreme 68 recognized as best sailing multihull at the Asia Boating Awards Held during the Singapore Yacht Show, the 13th edition of the Asia Boating Awards was a spectacular success for Sunreef Yachts as the remarkable Sunreef Supreme 68 was recognized as the Best Multihull Sailing Yacht. With a 13 years’ history this annual event recognizes and rewards the best of the maritime industry both in Asia and internationally.

Boasting not less than 300m² of living space and a superyacht aft garage, the Sunreef Supreme 68 catamarans enjoy a spectacular international success. Premiered during the Singapore Yacht Show 2016, this yacht model sparked a true revolution in multihull design.

Sunreef Yachts 15th anniversary at the Cannes Yachting Festival

To mark Sunreef Yacht’s 15th anniversary, the shipyard has brought four exquisite catamarans to the Cannes Yachting Festival, including the Sunreef 88 Double Deck superyacht – the biggest multihull exhibited at the venue.

The lavish Sunreef Cocktail Party attracted numerous guests, journalists and industry professionals for a late night rendez-vous of celebration and live entertainment. A casual afternoon get-together for charter brokers was also organized by Sunreef Yachts Charter on board the luxury charter yacht Sunreef 74 Calmao. Sunreef Yachts representatives along with VIP guests have joined the exclusive World Yacht Trophies Night gathering all the important names industry.

An energetic start into 2018

Sunreef Yachts begins 2018 with style as the Sunreef 88 Double Deck has just won the Christofle Yacht Style Award as the Best Multihull over 15m at the Phuket Rendez-Vous. The year ahead may bring even more recognition as both the Sunreef 88 Double Deck and Sunreef Supreme 68 Power compete for the Multihull of the Year prize.

A busy boat show calendar is already being planned and will take Sunreef Yachts to the world’s most important nautical events including Miami, Dubai, Sanctuary Cove and Singapore. With new construction facilities being currently built and equipped with ultramodern CNC systems, Sunreef Yachts is looking at yet another active and exciting year.
